Welcome to BlueMoon Ranch!  Here we have a variety of horses and ponies all of which are well loved.  Although I do not call myself a 'rescue' I will find the odd horse or pony in need and take them home.  The most recent are a couple yearlings, one of which was in very poor condition(he is now a healthy, sound and energetic colt). 

A brief history of BlueMoon Ranch
I've been riding horses for more then 18 years and I've loved it through thick and thin.  I mainly trail ride but I have done a few years of gymkhana and recently I've taken up Jumping with goals to compete.  Training horses is a joy for me and I have been doing so for 5 years.  I continue to learn new techniques or methods but never do I want to stop learning new things.  I have trained client's horses, ponies and miniatures but I mainly enjoy working with my own young stock.

I bought my first little pony(Peppin) several years ago and from then I fell in love with the little horses.  It wasn't long until I bought Merry and I started working with them both, breaking them for the cart.  They were easy to work with and both are very intelligent.  A couple years after, I bought Mr. T and now I've been breeding these little ponies for three years.  This year I will be continuing to work with Loki and Chester and Wren will receive more attention too.
The largest of the ponies I have is Elmer and Hero.  Elmer turned out to be fantastic gymkhana horse for me and Hero has had ground work done with him last summer.  I plan to go further in his training and ride him this summer.
As well as the ponies, I have horses here at the ranch.  Tony and Goliath were my first, followed by Navarre and the rest of them.  I love to go out riding any time of year - weather permitting of course!

I was finally able to update most of the site including the Mares, Geldings, Foals and For Sale pages.  In the following weeks, I plan to (when I can) continue to update the site by adding more pictures where needed.

Merry has finally foaled a beautiful little colt!  The colt still remains nameless however.  Information will be added as soon as possible.
